Modifying video or audio configuration for a live ceremony
For a smooth live eSignature ceremony, it's crucial that you can be seen and heard clearly. You can modify your camera and microphone settings both before joining and during the session.
## Configuring before joining a session
Once you opt to join a session, you'll find yourself in a pre-session lobby.
- Make sure your microphone and camera are active. Icons representing these tools should be visible.
- Next to these icons, click **Custom Setup** to access advanced settings.
In the setup:
- **Video Input**: Select your preferred video source from the dropdown menu.
- **Microphone**: Verify your microphone is working by observing the visual feedback on its right side. Movement indicates it's capturing sound.
- **Speaker**: Use the inbuilt test to make sure your speakers are functioning correctly by starting the test sound.
After confirming everything is set up correctly, click **Done**, then proceed by selecting **Join Now**.
## Adjusting settings during the session
If you need to change your configuration during an ongoing session:
- Find your video thumbnail on the right top sidebar.
- At the bottom right of the thumbnail, click the **three dots** for more options.
- Select **Settings**.
This opens the same audio and video settings page available before joining. Make any needed changes, then return to the session.
