This section stores and manages your notarial credentials securely. 3. **Open the Notary Exemplar card** Inside **Locker**, click the **Notary Exemplar** card. 4. **Choose your PKI certificate** Select your **PKI certificate** first. This digital certificate verifies your identity as a notary and is required to create a secure and trusted exemplar. 5. **Select your notary stamp and signature** Choose the notary stamp and signature you want to include in the exemplar. These are required to authenticate your notarization process. If you have not generated a certificate, stamp, or signature yet, click **Manage** within each section to create or manage them. 6. **Generate the exemplar** Click **Generate Exemplar**. This process may take a minute to complete. Once generated, the exemplar will include your full name, commission number, county, and other relevant details specific to your notary public credentials. 7. **Review and submit your exemplar** Review the document to make sure all details are accurate and that your state and commission information are correct. You can then download the exemplar and submit it to your Secretary of State for approval as part of your application or renewal process. **Important:** Complete your approval process as a public notary in your state before generating an exemplar. This helps ensure the information on your exemplar is accurate and up to date.
