Managing your registered phone number in Snapdocs RON (formerly Pactima) (creating, editing, or removing)
Having a verified phone number on your Snapdocs RON (formerly Pactima) account can be essential for security verification and account recovery. Whether you're adding a new number, updating an existing one, or removing a number you no longer use, here's what you need to know.
## Creating a New Phone Number
1. **Access Personal Information**:
- Click the 'Account' button at the top right of the header.
- Select 'Personal Info' to view your personal account information.
2. **Add Phone Number**:
- In the phone number section, if no number is listed, click the 'Edit' button.
- Choose your country from the dropdown menu to set the correct country code.
- Enter your phone number in the provided field.
3. **Verify the New Number**:
- Click the 'Save' button to register your phone number.
- To verify, click the 'Verify Phone Number' button.
- Enter the verification code sent to your phone in the popup modal.
- Click 'Verify' to complete the phone number verification process.
## Editing Your Phone Number
1. **Initiate Edit**:
- If you need to change your registered number, click on the 'Edit' button in the phone number section.
2. **Update Number**:
- Change the phone number as needed and then click 'Save'.
3. **Re-verify Your Number**:
- Click on the 'Verify Phone Number' button to receive a new verification code.
- Enter the received code to confirm the update.
## Removing Your Phone Number
1. **Start Removal Process**:
- Click on the 'Edit' button next to your phone number.
2. **Confirm Removal**:
- Select the 'Remove' button.
- A confirmation modal will appear to confirm your intention to remove the number.
3. **Complete Removal**:
- Click 'Confirm' in the modal to remove your phone number from the account.
## Key Tips
- Ensure the phone number you enter is accessible and in service as you will need to receive a verification code.
- Keep your phone number updated to assist with account recovery and security checks.
- Removing your phone number may affect your ability to perform certain actions within your account that require verification.
