RON Notary Onboarding Checklist
To successfully get started as a RON notary on Snapdocs RON (formerly Pactima), begin by activating your Snapdocs RON account:
- From your Snapdocs notary profile, select the option "Become a Snapdocs RON notary to receive RON signings Activate free account." Once your activation is approved, you will receive a link to RON-specific training to prepare you for signings.
After activation, complete the following tasks:

### If you do not receive the onboarding verification code
During Snapdocs RON onboarding, after you complete MFA/Auth0 setup, you may see a separate platform verification-code step. If you are on that specific onboarding screen and have not received the code:
- Check your email inbox for the platform verification email.
- Check your junk and spam folders as well.
- Do not use an MFA authenticator code or an MFA recovery code for this step, because those are not the same as the onboarding verification code.
This guidance applies specifically to that post-MFA onboarding verification screen.
### Fees and Pricing for Using the Snapdocs RON Platform
Being a notary on Snapdocs is free. You receive signings through Snapdocs Notary Connect, which can include Notary Connect RON orders hosted on your Snapdocs RON platform at no additional cost to you.
If you wish to bring your own business and signings to the Snapdocs RON platform, you can sign up for the Snapdocs RON subscription, which is separate from Notary Connect orders and involves fees per transaction in addition to a monthly subscription.
**Snapdocs RON for Notary:**
- $20 per month subscription fee
- Includes 1 complimentary RON session
- Additional RON sessions beyond the first free session cost $15 each
- Mortgage RON sessions cost $25 each
**Snapdocs RON for Teams:**
- $50 per month subscription fee
- Includes 3 complimentary RON sessions
- Unlimited users at no additional cost
- Additional RON sessions beyond the free ones cost $15 each
- Mortgage RON sessions cost $25 each
Each RON session in both plans allows unlimited documents, stamps, and participants at no extra cost. Identity Verification (IDV) and Knowledge-Based Authentication (KBA) are included for all signers in the session, along with secure storage of all session materials for at least 10 years.
