Chatting during a live ceremony

Effective communication is a cornerstone of any live event, and during a Snapdocs RON (formerly Pactima) live ceremony, it isn’t any different. The chat feature provides a seamless way for participants to exchange messages in real-time, enhancing collaboration and understanding throughout the process. <iframe src="https://www.loom.com/embed/c0bebc86dbf64ed9b815a8052091f1d7" width="100%" height="405" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen title="Chatting during a live ceremony"></iframe> 1. **Locate the chat feature** - While you are in a live ceremony, look toward the left side of your screen. - You will find a series of menu options including 'Navigation', 'Participants', and 'Chat'. 2. **Initiate a chat** - Click 'Chat' to open the chat window. - At the bottom of the window, use the input field to compose your message. - You can use this to clarify a point, ask a quick question, or send a brief message without interrupting the ceremony. 3. **Send messages** - After typing your message, press 'Enter' on your keyboard to send it quickly. - Or click the arrow button to the right of the text input field. 4. **Watch for new message notifications** - If you have an unread message, a red bubble will appear on the 'Chat' icon. - This helps you notice incoming messages during the ceremony. 5. **Use chat when necessary** - Chat is useful for immediate communication during the ceremony. - Reserve it for moments that require silent communication to help maintain the ceremony’s professional atmosphere.
