Chatting during a live ceremony
Effective communication is a cornerstone of any live event, and during a Snapdocs RON (formerly Pactima) live ceremony, it isn’t any different. The chat feature provides a seamless way for participants to exchange messages in real-time, enhancing collaboration and understanding throughout the process.

1. **Locate the chat feature**
- While you are in a live ceremony, look toward the left side of your screen.
- You will find a series of menu options including 'Navigation', 'Participants', and 'Chat'.
2. **Initiate a chat**
- Click 'Chat' to open the chat window.
- At the bottom of the window, use the input field to compose your message.
- You can use this to clarify a point, ask a quick question, or send a brief message without interrupting the ceremony.
3. **Send messages**
- After typing your message, press 'Enter' on your keyboard to send it quickly.
- Or click the arrow button to the right of the text input field.
4. **Watch for new message notifications**
- If you have an unread message, a red bubble will appear on the 'Chat' icon.
- This helps you notice incoming messages during the ceremony.
5. **Use chat when necessary**
- Chat is useful for immediate communication during the ceremony.
- Reserve it for moments that require silent communication to help maintain the ceremony’s professional atmosphere.
